SAN FRANCISCO, August 11, 2022 — Asia Society Northern California welcomes Martijn Rasser, senior fellow and director of the technology and national security program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). Rasser discusses a multi-year project conducted by CNAS on high-tech illiberalism and the use of digital technologies by authoritarian regimes to control information, conduct surveillance, and govern technology.
