Korea’s luxury market continues to grow in spite of the unpredictable global economy. It is no exaggeration to say that luxury has become the currency of power in Korea, and that this change has become so powerful that the average Korean owns nine luxury items and the Korean market for luxury goods is worth more than $4.5 billion. This panel discussion will explore why an unquenchable luxury craze has swept Korea and provide insights into the Korean luxury consumer's mind to understand the social changes taking place in the broader Asian region today.
