Dreaming Against the World (Complete)
HONG KONG, January 18, 2017 – The evening screening of Dreaming Against the World portrays Chinese artist Mu Xin’s experience of endangering his life to write and paint while in solitary confinement during the Cultural Revolution. A post-screening discussion was joined by Associate Professor of HKU School of Chinese Aihe Wang, executive producer Fredrick L. Gordon, PhD candidate in the HKU School of Chinese Ouyang Kaibin, and publisher of Orientations magazine Yifawn Lee, who served as moderator. (42 min., 46 sec.)
