Short Film: Lost & Found
Academy Award-shortlisted Lost & Found is a stop-motion animated short film that tugs at the heartstrings as a clumsy crochet dinosaur must unravel itself to save the love of its life. This Australian work highlights the Japanese art of amigurumi, or small crocheted stuffed yarn creatures, and is a great pick for kids.
Dance Class: FoCo Technique with Yin Yue
Join choreographer Yin Yue on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. CT as she teaches the movements for a solo dance that participants can learn together as a community. Highlighting Yin's signature FoCo Technique developed from Chinese classical and folk-dance elements combined with contemporary dance, this class is designed for those with a knowledge of dance, but is open to all.
