Asia for Educators at Columbia University offers free Book Groups for teachers, launching the spring series on January 5 with the graphic novel Tiananmen 1989: Our Shattered Hopes. The visual texts offer new entry points into difficult subject matters and as a group, you will discuss how to incorporate both the topics and the books into your classroom.
