Scented Xmas Cards with Vintage Chinese Tile Stamps
VIEW EVENT DETAILSCommunity Workshop
Our upcoming exhibition, LoveThenAbandoned (Dec 5 - Dec 18 2022) transports us back through a history that is slowly disappearing, to rediscover the beauty of patinaed places.
In this workshop, artist Adele Frankle along with Sacha Yasumoto, the photographer of the exhibition will introduce some patterns, which are found in vintage Chinese tiles. Based on these patterns, you will create a scented Christmas card through the technique of stamping.
When Sacha isn’t taking photos of abandoned buildings, she can be found teaching an array of topics she is passionate about. As a qualified interior designer, aromatherapist & Crystal mixologist, she loves to teach Japanese cooking and heads a Japanese dining club. She is an active member of the AWA where she organizes various events for the community.
Adele grew up in South Africa where she studied “Fine Art” after school. She moved to Hong Kong with her husband in 2001. Adele adores living here and her art is inspired vastly by it. In 2011, she started her own business “Art Smart”, teaching art & crafts as an after-school activity at various locations around Hong Kong.
