Macbeth is a tragedy by William Shakespeare (1564-1616), sets primarily in Scotland, the play follows the character of Macbeth, a Scottish general who becomes power-hungry and demented with political ambition.
The journey of every character in the story portrays human nature at its weakest, but also at its finest. It is a must-read for any passionate reader or writer.
Professional actor and teacher will read a verse from Macbeth, and show you this masterpiece of literature and stage play.
Shiona Carson, the Artistic Director of Shakespeare4All will read a scene from the play, and let us experience the magic of this Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy.
