The nation’s rising economy and burgeoning middle class have earned India a place alongside China as one of the world’s two indispensable emerging markets. At the same time, India’s tech-savvy entrepreneurs and rapidly globalizing firms are upending key sectors of the world economy. In Reimagining India: Unlocking the Potential of Asia's Next Superpower, commissioned by McKinsey & Company, influential thinkers from India and around the world share insights about how India, Asia's "other superpower," might forge a better future. The contributors include Bill Gates, Mukesh Ambani, Anand Mahindra, Harsha Bhogle, and Eric Schmidt.
Co-Editor of Reimagining India Adil Zainulbhai will give a keynote address, and will be followed by a panel of experts who will explore the challenges and opportunities facing India. Panelists will include Consul-General of India (Sydney), Sunjay Sudhir; Patron of the Australia India Institute (UNSW Node), Neville Roach AO; Tata Consultancy Services’ CEO, Deborah Hadwen and IAG’s Chief Risk Officer, Justin Breheny. Professor Fred Hilmer AO, President & Vice Chancellor, UNSW Australia will moderate discussion.
After the program, panelists will take audience questions.
