Lauri Myllyvirta
Non-Resident Senior Fellow, China Climate Hub
Lauri Myllyvirta is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow with the Asia Society Policy Institute's China Climate Hub. Lauri has a decade of experience covering energy, emissions, and air pollution issues in China. His research has focused on the country's coal consumption and CO2 emissions trends, sources of air pollution, as well as the development of the country's coal-fired power and steel industry.
Lauri has degrees in economics from Helsinki University and in environmental science from the University of Jyvaskyla. He is the co-founder of Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air, an independent research organization that tracks progress towards clean energy and clean air.
