Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibition: A New High
"Temple, Scrolls, and Divine Messengers: Archaeology of the Land of Israel in Roman Times" attracted more than 32,000 viewers.
HONG KONG, January 2015 - As our exhibition, Temple, Scrolls, and Divine Messengers: Archaeology of the Land of Israel in Roman Times drew to a close, Asia Society Hong Kong Center experienced a record high of gallery visitors, with a total of over 32,000 visitors.
The great number of visitors for this exhibition – featuring a facsimile of the Great Isaiah Scrolls, one of the most well-preserved ancient documents of the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Gabriel Revelation Stone, and other archaeological artefacts from Qumran, Israel – has strongly encouraged Asia Society Hong Kong Center to continue its mission in providing the local community a creative and cultural platform.
We thank each and every one of you for your support and warmly welcome you to visit us again.
Asia Society Hong Kong Center also thanks the immense support from our sponsors and partners for being part of making this exhibition accessible to the public and a success.
