Marco A.L. V. Sardillo III, Executive Director
Marco, as Asia Society Philippines’ Executive Director, is responsible for leading the team and, in collaboration with the Board of Trustees, co-creating and implementing the Manila Center's strategy, with a view towards its long-term vision, mission, and purpose.
He is a development practitioner, having served as an independent consultant to various development organizations such as UNDP Philippines, the Asia Foundation, and the Asian Development Bank. He is also a pro bono adviser to several nongovernmental organizations relating to social justice and public interest issues.
As an educator, he is affiliated with the Ateneo School of Law where he serves as a thesis-reader and part-time professorial lecturer (on leave) and the Ateneo School of Government where, apart from serving as part-time lecturer, he has been engaged for several projects—most recently as Training Director for a youth leadership program.
From 2013 to 2016, under his service as Administrator of Intramuros Administration (with rank of Undersecretary of the Department of Tourism), the Intramuros Administration became the first organization outside of Europe to receive a Premio Patrimonio (“Heritage Award”) from the Group of UNESCO Cities of Spain. Prior to his work in the culture and heritage sector, he served as Executive Director of the Presidential Commission on Good Government and Chief of Staff of its Chairperson.
Marco obtained his Bachelor of Arts, Major in Philosophy (2001) from Ateneo de Manila University and his Juris Doctor degree (2006) from Ateneo Law School. Soon after his admission to the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, he attended the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (National University of Singapore) where he received his Master in Public Policy (2010), as a recipient of the LKYSPP’s grant award. Being a lifelong learner, following his stint in the public sector, he returned to graduate school, as a Chevening Scholar, obtaining his Master of Science in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Sarah Gellor-Hidalgo, Program Manager
Sarah has proven experience working as a development professional in the non-profit sector, government, and academe. She started as a Program Officer for the Kaya Natin! Movement, handling programs that focused on good governance and citizen participation for youth leaders and government officials. She also worked as a Senior Scholarship Program Officer at the Commission on Higher Education, coordinating with schools and providing technical support for faculty grantees in Luzon. Her program management, partnership and training coordination skills further grew as a Training Coordinator under the Executive Education Program of Ateneo School of Government as she conceptualized and implemented capacity development interventions for government officials, civil society, and the youth. Prior to her engagement with Asia Society Philippines, she has also worked for the CCT Training and Development Institute, and Philippine Business for Education. She graduated cum laude with a BA Broadcast Communication degree from the University of the Philippines-Diliman, and finished her Master in Public Management degree from the Ateneo School of Government as a silver medalist.

Aimee Mapa, Administrative & Finance Officer
Aimee Faith is an Administrative & Finance Officer at Asia Society Philippines Foundation Inc. She specializes and is responsible for disbursement transactions, payrolls, preparing and filing of taxes and government remittances, preparing financial report and assisting the auditors in facilitating the annual audit Beforehand, she worked as a Senior Accounting Associate in a public firm for 4 years which refined her abilities in the field of accounting and taxation. With her strong knowledge in accounting system, analysis, reporting and organizational skills, she has handled working well to different type of companies. Furthermore, Aimee Faith graduated from National College of Business and Arts with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
