The panel will discuss the subtle changes in Asian cuisine as it confronts, adapts, and integrates to distinct gastronomic cultures around the world. Panelists will consider the culinary migrations of Asian cuisines; assess how it is perceived globally; and how it has been impacted by globalization.

Madhur Jaffrey is an award winning actress and best selling author who has written over 15 cookery books. She is regarded by many as the world's foremost authority on Indian food. Manisha Bhasin is Executive Chef at Marriott Welcomhotel, New Delhi. Ms Bhasin is a recipient of many awards including the Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Association of India's Chef of the Year Award in 2004. She is responsible for launching of "Pan Asian" and "Dakshin" in her hotel. Sourish Bhattacharyya is the Executive Editor of Mail Today, and is responsible for its Sunday edition. He has commented extensively on trends in the hospitality industry and is the author of Sakura’s Kitchen: The Cuisine & Culture of Japan and Editor of the HT City Eating Out Guide, 2004. Sabina Sehgal Saikia is a Consulting Editor and the food critic of The Times of India, New Delhi. Her immensely popular column, which first appeared in Saturday Times, and now appears in Delhi Times, has accurately charted the chequered business of eating out in the Capital. Sabina teaches journalism; is a trained vocalist and has founded non-profit societies associated with Indian Classical music. Rajesh Wadhwa is the Executive Chef at Taj Palace, New Delhi. A multiple award-winner, he has planned and executed several high profile dinners, including President Bush's 2004 visit to India and Vikram Chhatwal's wedding, and accompanied the Indian Prime Minister as his personal chef on several trips abroad.
