In the war-torn Filipino peninsula of Zamboanga, thirteen teenagers prepare to perform at a community concert. As the expected attendance of the event triples in size, the band must deal with vigorous rehearsals and growing expectations.
This documentary, produced by the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging, also provides a unique glimpse into the homes and hearts of the young musicians. They learn teamwork and perseverance while exploring their own talents and dealing with the challenges of everyday life in poverty-stricken neighborhoods of the southern Philippines.
