Our second session for Summer 2015, Marvels of Modern Asia, will feature stunning art projects and performances as in past years and new exciting additions for this year include the following:
- Comic art workshop, drawing from Indian, Japanese, and other cultures throughout Asia
- Heritage project in celebration of the exhibition The Other Side: Chinese and Mexican Immigration to America
- Fashion design project highlighting modern designs across the continent
- Story creation workshop featuring animals from Pacific Asia
- And of course…Asian food!
Children ages 6-12 are welcome to attend ExploreAsia summer camps. Each session can accommodate 30 campers, so please register early to guarantee a spot! Registration includes a camp t-shirt, all supplies, and a snack for the end-of-camp celebration.
