Hailing from Tajikistan and now based in Israel, The Alaev Family innovatively melds Central Asian, Turkish, Iranian, and Russian traditions as well as the Jewish music of Bukhara. The enthusiasm and verve of these dynamic musicians and drummers turn every performance into a festive event not to be missed!
The ensemble has embarked on a worldwide tour which includes a stop at the prestigious World of Music, Arts and Dance (WOMAD) Festival and the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.
