Tsunami Relief and Rebuilding Project

Private Sector Support Aids Tsunami Relief

Among the outpouring of global assistance for tsunami relief and reconstruction for southern Asia, private sector commitments have provided critically needed support to victims of one of the most devastating natural disasters to strike the region. International corporate pledges of cash, medical supplies, and other in-kind services totaling billions of U.S. dollars have helped to address immediate relief needs and will facilitate rebuilding of the infrastructure necessary for recovery in those areas most affected.

The Asia Society is pleased to recognize the ongoing generosity of the corporate community in providing immediate and long-term assistance to the region. The following Asia Society Corporate Member companies are among the global leaders in this effort.
