The 2003 International Finance Forum, sponsored by China Reform and Development Forum Committee (CRDFC), Global Compact of United Nations, China Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and Development Research Center of the State Council is to be held on October 28-30, 2003 in Beijing, China. This forum is so far the largest international summit approved by the new Chinese government on finance at the highest level. It has received special support from People’s Bank of China, China Banking Regulatory Commission, UN Global Compact, Executive Office of Secretary-General of the United Nations, United Nations Industrial Development Organization, World Bank, as well from senior leaders in Chinese government, and relevant international organizations. The forum will feature high-ranking officials of Chinese government, top financial executives, eminent academic leaders from China and world, will explore the future of the Chinese and international capital markets, joined by hundreds of entrepreneurs.
