I knew Richard when we served together in Saigon. He had been a guest in our home in Kensington, MD. He was a giant. a terrible loss of a great diplomat and friend of countless .
It would be wonderful to see videos of Mr. Holbrooke's Asia Society programs online again. I'll never forget his addressing me by my first name when replying to my question during a Q&A! That memory lingers long after the question or the answer, and I can even hear his voice.
