The next few years should be extremely telling with both global warming and the glaciers. The pressure is on us to do what rights and help reverse the man made affects of the potential issues we face. Regardless of where this is heading we need to protect our planet and treat it with respect. We must take advantage of the many natural resources that are available to us!!

This is indeed an extreme important issue that each and every body (living human beings) in this lovely planet to concern about. Many people talk about it but only a few that actually do something about it. Was COPENHAGEN Climate Conference 2009 really help? I doubt it. Not trying to be pessimistic but that's the reality. But some like Siachen are advancing and some like Gangotri are receding at a declining rate. However, there is no conclusive scientific evidence to link global warming or black carbon and the retreating Himalayan glaciers and that they will vanish in near future as propagated by the West. No abnormal retreat has been recorded,” Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh told reporters at New Delhi." This was the paper attacked as "voodoo science" but now confirmed I believe as basically correct. I wonder where the truth really is, how much of everything is just propaganda? You tell me.

I'm with you, once the ice caps melt we're all in big, big trouble! I think it's embarrassing the way most of us treat this planet and we need to get the word out before it's too late!

I agree with you, Sam! Melting glaciers is an very big issue and we have to find way to solve it. Ordinary people like you and me can help if we spread the word about this problem and inform others.
