Photos: 'Princes & Painters' Opening Pulls Patrons, VIPs
NEW YORK, February 22, 2012 — Distinguished Asia Society patrons and special guests, including the novelist Salman Rushdie, attended the opening of Asia Society Museum's latest exhibition, Princes and Painters in Mughal Delhi, 1707-1857 — the first exhibition in the West to showcase Delhi's rich history of art, artists and patrons who flourished during a crucial transitional period in Indian history. The exhibition's co-curators, historian William Dalrymple and Yuthika Sharma gave members a special tour.
