Artists, auteurs and other notables turned out in New York City last Sunday for Asia Society's screening of The Lady, starring Michelle Yeoh.
In The Lady, Malaysian-born, Hong Kong-based actress Yeoh stars as Burmese Nobel Peace Prize-winner Aung San Suu Kyi. Luc Besson, the French filmmaker responsible for The Fifth Element and La Femme Nikita, directed the film.
