VIEW EVENT DETAILSAsia Society Center on U.S.-China Relations presents the world premiere of WIN IN CHINA, a new documentary film chronicling the ground breaking CCTV Chinese game show, Ying Zai Zhong Guo, the world's largest, most lucrative business plan competition. WIN IN CHINA follows the path of China's market revolution, vividly illustrating the role entrepreneurship has played in the dramatic changes China has undergone over the past 30 years. The film follows the lives of the television show's contestants, drawn from some 120,000 entrepreneurs who competed for over five million dollars of investment in their business plans. 'Today, entrepreneurs are the biggest heroes in our society,' states CCTV host, Wang Lifen. Featured in the film are Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba Group and Chairman of China Yahoo, who served as Head Judge, Liu Chuanzhi, founder of computer giant Lenovo, along with American China watchers James Fallows and Orville Schell. Also featured are a new generation of Chinese rappers, punk rockers and Ferrari salesmen born of this historic economic reform.
