After two years of tumult in the global economy, there is a lack of confidence in the capital markets. What will it take to restore trust and confidence in capital markets? What is the role of the accounting profession in rebuilding that trust? What role does the business community play in this, and why is strong ethical leadership of critical importance in the global economic recovery?

Mr. Flynn has held key leadership positions throughout the firm and is currently client service partner for several of KPMG's largest clients. Before becoming Chairman, he was Global Managing Partner Audit and Global Managing Partner for Human Resources at KPMG International. In 2008, Mr. Flynn served on the Advisory Committee on the Auditing Profession, established by U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Hank Paulson, which recommended fostering a more sustainable auditing profession.
