What will be the role of women in shaping the 21st century, often described as "Asia's Century?" How have women effected change in the past? How can we build on all that women have achieved so far? To celebrate the economic, political, and social achievements of women, we have brought together a group of remarkable individuals who will share their personal stories and professional milestones and examine how the role of women in society has changed.
Christine Fang, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, a group of over 370 non-governmental organizations that provides 90% of the social welfare services in Hong Kong.
Claire Hsu, Co-founder and Executive Director of Asia Art Archive, a non-profit organization dedicated to documenting the recent history of visual art from the region within an international context.
Yip Wing-sie, Music Director of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Principal Guest Conductor at the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra and Fellow of the Royal College of Music.
Anna Wu, Executive Councillor, Chairperson of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority, former lawmaker and former Chairperson of the Equal Opportunities Commission.
