Asia21 Local Chapters
Starting An Asia 21 Local Chapter In Your Country
The Asia 21 Young Leaders Forum brings together a select group of Asia's most dynamic young leaders who share a commitment to making their societies, the Asia-Pacific community, and the world a better place, and offers them a unique opportunity to explore and realize that commitment collectively. The Asia 21 Young Leaders Forum identifies and develops an active network of Asia's most dynamic and emerging young leaders from all sectors; and aims to help prepare tomorrow’s leaders for the challenges and responsibilities of global citizenship generating creative, shared approaches to leadership and problem solving.
The Philippines 21 Initiative, founded by Asia 21 Fellow Harvey Keh in collaboration with the Asia Society's Manila office, has been extremely successful in starting a robust local network modeled upon the Asia 21 Young Leaders Forum. The Philippines Asia 21 team worked closely with the Asia Society in initially identifying important young leaders from across the Philippines as well as in local. The Philippines delegation attended the 2006 Seoul Summit as a group and will continue to hold meetings throughout the year.
