Assuming the form of a dynamic outdoor pavilion, Rafael Domenech and Tomas Vu: Heat Silhouette is Asia Society Texas' first public art installation, commissioned in partnership with the University of Houston’s Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts. This collaboration between Cuban American artist Rafael Domenech and Vietnamese American artist Tomas Vu is designed to welcome the spontaneous circulation of people, energy, and events.

In this afternoon concert for all ages, Ariel Lee (violin), Andrew Ma (violin), and David Dietz (cello) will perform a selection of traditional and contemporary works by Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Taiwanese composers, including a medly from Joe Hisaishi's scores for Studio Ghibli.
