On August 2, 2022 Asia Society Northern California hosted a Members off-the-record Executive Roundtable discussion on the State of U.S.-China Business Relations with Craig Allen, President, and Rory Murphy, Vice President of Government Affairs, of the U.S.-China Business Council.

Asia Society Northern California Advisory Council Member and Investment Strategist at Matthews Asia, Andy Rothman, moderated a lively and engaged discussion between the speakers and the VIP participants on various topics including U.S. China policies, outbound investment review legislation, and U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's trip to Taiwan. After the event, ABC7 interviewed Craig Allen at the Asia Society Northern California office.

This event was sold out and the first of eight in our popular Seeking Truth Through Facts U.S.-China Program Series, which focuses on new strategic frameworks for the bilateral relationship, plurilateral relationships, rebalancing trade, national security, technology, and climate change; as well as the global impact of the political and economic landscape. This program will lead up to our annual Future of U.S. & China Conference held in January 2023.
